Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the Zeelity website and app. Zeelity is in private beta; subscribers are notified of any change to these terms before it takes effect.

1. Who provides the service

Zeelity is provided by Paradox Beauty Engineering, Unipessoal Lda, NIPC 518569152, with registered office at Av. Defensores de Chaves 97, 7.º, 1000-116 Lisboa, Portugal ("Zeelity", "we").

2. What the service includes

Zeelity is an accounting service for self-employed workers in Portugal, delivered through the app with a certified accounting partner behind it. With an active subscription:

To do this work, the service needs the accesses set up on your setup call: access to the Portal das Finanças and to Segurança Social Direta. Without them we cannot issue receipts or file on your behalf.

The service is provided with a certified accountant (contabilista certificado) registered with the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados. By subscribing, you agree to appoint this accountant as your accountant for the activity the service covers; the appointment is part of your setup.

3. What Zeelity is not

Zeelity is not the Autoridade Tributária, not Segurança Social, and does not replace your own judgment. Estimates are based on the data you provide. Official acts happen on the official portals and are always subject to your confirmation or your explicit written mandate.

The subscription pays for the service only. Your taxes and Segurança Social contributions are always paid by you to the State — Zeelity never holds or forwards your tax money.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your account secure. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time via the contact on this page (email us).

5. Subscription, billing and cancellation

The price depends on your situation — what kind of income you have and how it reaches you. The exact price is always shown before you subscribe.

Your situationBilled yearlyYear, paid onceMonth-to-month
One company pays you, and you have nothing else to declare €16.90/month€202.80€19.90/month
One company pays you, and you also have other income to declare (rent, freelance work, pensions) €19.90/month€238.80€23.90/month
You invoice your clients directly, including clients in other EU countries (VIES registration and recapitulative statements included) €19.90/month€238.80€23.90/month
You invoice your clients directly, and you also have other income to declare €22.90/month€274.80€24.90/month
Extra — a second company pays you regularly +€0.70/month+€8.40+€1.00/month
Extra — three or more companies pay you regularly +€1.20/month+€14.40+€1.50/month

The extra applies on top of your base price when more than one company pays you regularly — every payer invoiced, every receipt issued.

Payment is made through the methods shown at checkout.

Billing runs in whole periods. A month-to-month subscription is charged month by month: cancelling stops the next charge, and the month already paid runs to its end — a started month is not split or partially refunded. A yearly subscription is paid once, in advance, for the 12 months ahead: cancelling stops the renewal, the service keeps running to the end of that year, and the advance payment is not partially refunded.

You can cancel at any time, in the app or by email. The one exception to the whole-period rule is the legal withdrawal window in clause 7.

6. Chave Móvel Digital fast lane

The Chave Móvel Digital fast lane is a separate one-off service. It costs €59, IVA included, paid once in the app. It is not part of the subscription.

It is available in the Lisboa and Porto areas. What you are buying:

Two things are yours to bring: a valid identity document, and yourself. You have to be physically present. The key is issued by the State, not by Zeelity, so we cannot promise it will be issued. A refusal, a system outage or a missing document can stop the visit, and that part is not in our hands.

If the visit does not happen because of us, you get the full €59 back. That covers our no-show and the case where we never offer you a slot.

If you do not show up, or you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, the reserved slot is lost and cannot be given to anyone else. In that case we may keep €20 of the €59 and refund the rest. If you cancel more than 24 hours ahead, we rebook, or you get the full amount back.

The €59 is separate from your monthly subscription. Cancelling the subscription later does not refund it.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal for this service. You buy this online, so Decreto-Lei 24/2014 gives you 14 days to withdraw without giving any reason. If you ask for the appointment to happen inside those 14 days, you are expressly asking us to start before the period ends. Once the visit has taken place and the service is fully performed, the right of withdrawal ends (Article 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed in Portugal by Decreto-Lei 24/2014). Until then you can still withdraw, and we keep only what matches the work already done.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Zeelity never sees your full card details.

7. Right of withdrawal

Buying online gives you a legal right of withdrawal (Decreto-Lei 24/2014): within 14 days of subscribing you can walk away without giving any reason, by writing to us (email us). If you asked us to start the service during those 14 days, we may keep a proportional amount for the days of service already provided and refund the rest.

This applies to the yearly plan in the same way: within the first 14 days you get the advance payment back, less the days already served. After the 14 days the advance payment is no longer refundable — cancellation works as described in clause 5, with the year running to its end.

8. Complaints and disputes

We are registered in the electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt. Consumer disputes may also be taken to the arbitration centre listed in the Legal notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
